Adventures

When I was commissioned to make ‘Adventures’ I couldn’t believe the concept of a striped box had never occurred to me before. What could possibly be better? I love a bit of maths so I very much enjoyed the calculations to ensure the stripes all lined up correctly on each surface. To make it work I had to adjust the thicknesses fractionally on each side. As if the striped exterior wasn’t delightful enough the box was designed to hold a collection of postcards. To keep these in order I therefore also got to make a set of lilac index cards foiled in gold. Absolute job of dreams.
