Every time I’m commissioned to make a box I feel like I want to keep it and vow to make one for myself. In reality although I have a whole list of boxes I intend to make just for me rarely do I ever actually get to them. This little number however is an exception. Always thinking that one day I will develop a signature ‘look’ I found I was procuring a little collection of accessories that seemed unintentionally curated and gave me some hope that I had finally unearthed a sense of style. False alarm on that front but I thought the least I could do would be to create a tray to display these beauties. Each compartment was built especially to hold the items within it and in this instance I went one further and adjusted the depths as well so each sat at a suitable viewing level. So, yes, I may not be expressing myself in the stylish way I wish I could but I am proud to own and display beautiful things and it pleases me to have them smiling at me from my dressing table.
